Permission to Play is a casual, drop-in improv meetup created by mental health therapists, for mental health therapists. Each two-hour gathering is an opportunity to connect with fellow therapists through guided improv games, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to be a little silly.

We created this space to make room for creativity, spontaneity, and playfulness. It's a chance to get out of your head, try something unexpected, and enjoy doing something simply because it's fun!

No improv experience needed! You'll be guided through simple, playful activities that are accessible to complete beginners and enjoyable for experienced improvisers, too. You don't have to be quick-witted, outgoing, or "good at improv." There's no pressure to perform, and the goal certainly isn't to become the next comedy superstar. It's all about enjoying the experience and seeing what happens when you give yourself permission to play.

This isn't a networking event, consultation group, or professional development workshop. It's just a fun, informal way to spend an evening with other therapists.

Come as you are, bring your curiosity, and get ready to play!
